Commonwealth-RSIS working group on CVE

Welcoming Professor Kumar Ramakrishna, and colleagues of the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Singapore, CWSRG was delighted to host the second CWSRG-RSIS working group on Countering Violent Extremism at Gibraltar House on the 18 September 2025.

The discussions focused on new areas of research in counter-terrorism and counter-extremism, and the unifying role played by isolated access to the internet in the radicalisation of youth.

CVE remains a vital focus area for the CWSRG, and the Commonwealth is a unique platform for helping nations address threats from extremist ideologies. We look forward to furthering our engagements across this field, and implementing key intervenions throughout the year ahead.
